Who is this for?
Facilitators — book clubs, discussion groups, small groups — and anyone exploring spirituality, books, art, science, or practice on their own. The tools are free to use. All discussion handout generators are open to everyone — no sign-in required.
What is SeekerPNW?
SeekerPNW brings together resources for spiritual, intellectual, and creative exploration. You can use AI-powered tools to generate discussion guides and handouts, browse curated topics and practices from the community, share your own practices, register discussion groups, and search across the site.
What do I see on the homepage?
The homepage has three main areas: (1) a Hero with “Seek. Connect. Grow.” and buttons to Start Exploring, Community Tools, and Learn More; (2) Explore — five pillar cards (Read, Learn, Art & Science, Spirit, Practice) you can click to jump to that section; (3) Community Tools — five AI-powered discussion handout generators. Click any pillar card to go directly to that part of the site.
What are the five pillars?
Read — Monthly book focus, Book Guide Generator, reading groups, future book ideas. Learn — Learning Topic Generator, curated topics with articles, podcasts, and discussion questions. Art & Science — Art & Science Topic Generator, explorations at the intersection of creativity and inquiry. Spirit — Faith-based tools, Bible Reading Generator, Episcopal Lectionary Generator, current and archived discussion topics. Practice — Shared practices from the community (meditation, exercise, prayer, etc.) and the ability to submit your own.
How do the AI discussion handout generators work?
All discussion handout generators are under Community Tools on the homepage. Each opens its own interface — no sign-in required.Book Guide — enter book title and author for summary, articles, and questions. Learning Topic — enter any topic for summary, curated resources, and questions. Art & Science — Mix Pool to select 4 blocks, AI creates a unifying theme. Bible Reading and Lectionary generators are also available. Some generators may take a few seconds to load on first use.
Can libraries or institutions use SeekerPNW?
Yes. Libraries, schools, and other institutions are welcome to use the generators for book clubs, discussion programs, or staff use. We recommend having a qualified staff member review any generated guide before official use or publication. Each handout already attributes the AI model used (e.g. Claude Haiku 4.5). If your organization requires it, you may need to add that the material was reviewed by a staff member — for example: “Reviewed for accuracy by [name/role].” A short product summary for institutional or governance review is available; contact us if you need it.
How do I browse topics and books?
Read, Learn, Art & Science, and Spirit pages show a current topic or book card. Click “Show full guide” or “Show more” to expand and see the full summary, resources (articles, podcasts, etc.), and discussion questions. Archived content is listed below. Use Search in the top nav to find content across the site.
How do I browse and share practices?
The Practice page shows community practices — meditation, exercise, prayer, and more. Each card has a name, short description, and tags. Click “See more” to expand and view the full description, how they do it, duration, and resources (shown as plain text). If “Interested? Contact” appears, you can reach out. Use “See all practices with search and filter” to browse more. To share your own: go to Practice → “Submit a Practice” — fill in name, email, description, how you do it, optionally resources and duration and contact preference. Submissions are reviewed before appearing on the site.
How do I register a discussion group?
If you run a book club or discussion group: go to Read → “Register your group”, choose the pillar, add group name, contact info, description, meeting schedule, location, timezone, and whether you're open to new members. Submit — you'll be contacted once it's approved.
How does search work?
Use Search in the top navigation to find topics, books, practices, and learning resources across the site. Results show category badges. Click a result to go to the page; hash links scroll to the right section.
How do I contact you or learn more?
Use the Contact link in the footer or nav to send a message. For more context, see About, guiding principles, design philosophy, and why we link to Bookshop.org. The footer has five colored dots — hover to see what each color means for the pillars.
