How we build and maintain this resource
A Resource for Shared Experience
SeekerPNW began as a way to organize personal interests — spiritual exploration, books and ideas, the intersection of art and science, and lifelong learning. Along the way, tools emerged to help facilitate discussions, and those tools found an audience beyond a small group. The name “Seeker” reflects the spirit: curiosity without pretense, exploration without agenda. “PNW” nods to the Pacific Northwest.
Built for the Community
This is a community resource — a place where groups can find shared experiences in common. The site is free to use; we don't sell your data or pressure you to join. If we ever ask for help covering costs, it will be voluntary, transparent, and only to offset expenses. Content is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.
Tools That Support Discussion
The AI-powered tools help people facilitate meaningful discussions without requiring deep expertise. Where AI is used, it's clearly indicated. Where authoritative sources are needed, they come from verified databases. The goal is to lower the bar for participation, not replace human judgment.
Simplicity by Design
Each feature is built to do one thing well. The platform stays lean — minimal intervention, minimal infrastructure — so it remains a resource rather than becoming a destination. Connections happen between people and groups; the site supports that without inserting itself.
Invitation Over Obligation
Everything here is an invitation. Groups register because it helps them. People explore because it interests them. No gamification, no dark patterns, no push to “engage.” The guiding principles — curiosity, respect, speaking from experience — shape how we engage, not rules we enforce.
Transparency and Trust
How the site works is visible. AI use is disclosed. Sources are traceable. Contact flows connect visitors directly to group owners, with minimal platform involvement. The intent is clarity and dignity for everyone who participates.
These choices reflect the mission: to spread hope and compassion for our community, our planet, and our selves.
